Awesome mattress

We needed a mattress for our Murphy bed and came across the Juno mattress. Other reviews we read highly recommended this mattress and a HUGE plus is that it’s a Canadian product. Delivery was crazy fast (we live in the city that they are shipped from). The mattress is incredibly comfortable!

Q: Is the mattress compatible with my box spring

A: Thank you for reaching out!

The Juno mattress requires the proper support which may consist of either a platform base (one solid piece) or a base made of flat wooden slats that are at least two inches wide and no more than three inches apart.

As a general requirement, wire-grid or box spring foundations are not suitable for the mattress and may increase the softness. If you currently have a box spring foundation, we advise placing a sheet of unfinished plywood down, over the surface of the foundation you currently have in order to convert your base into a flat platform for the mattress. Please note, that the plywood must be at least 1/2" thick to provide the proper support for the mattress.

A: Hi Chris, we recognize that firmness is a preference. Juno is made in the goldilocks zone of Medium-Firm, which is not too soft, not too firm. If you're looking for a mattress a little firmer, but still medium firm, our sister mattress, Douglas, is a little firmer. It's priced higher but comes with free bedding. See douglas.ca.

Q: How much does a Q/S Juno Mattress weigh? Are they suitable for Murphy Beds?

A: Hey, Phillip! A Queen Juno mattress weighs 49 lb or 51 lb with the Cool+ Cover. To see the product specs of each size, click on the "Product Dimensions & Weights" section on the product page.

Only select Murphy beds are compatible with our mattress. If your Murphy bed has coils, springs, metal bars, or grids, it is incompatible with the Juno mattress. Additionally, the bed must have straps to hold the mattress flat when it is stored and must accommodate the height of the mattress.

Unfortunately, once your Juno has fully expanded, it cannot be recompressed and rolled back up. We also strongly recommend our customers use a compatible base with our mattresses to prevent any premature sagging.

Q: Bonsoir, est-ce que les lattes de bois ajourées qui sont vendues chez la compagnie IKEA sont recommandées pour le support d’un matelas king de marque JUNO ? Les dimensions sont , 2 pouces de large pour les lattes avec un espace de 2-3/4 pouces entrée chaque .

A: Bonjour, Daniel! Le matelas Juno est compatible avec un sommier à lattes dont les lattes ont au moins 2 pouces de largeur et dont les espaces ne dépassent pas 3 pouces. Il est également important de noter que les matelas queen, king et California king nécessitent au moins une poutre de soutien centrale.

A: Hi, Pierre. We do still advise against using slatted bases that have slats greater than 3" apart to ensure the mattress is receiving even support.

In addition, slatted bases require at least one centre support beam when used with King-sized mattresses. A simple solution is to place a sheet of unfinished plywood at least 1/2" thick over the top of your slatted base to provide your new mattress with the support it needs.

Q: I have a small motorhome 25FT. The total length of the bed is 73.5 inches to the padded headboard. The foam mattress is 5.5 inches and fits bellow the headboard total length is74.5 inches. Will your 8 inch mattress fit into this space. the width is OK at 38 inches.
