A: Hi Brad, we currently only offer one type of mattress protector. While the Juno Mattress Protector has been designed to keep the mattress safe, it specializes in protection against stains, spills, and accidents.

A: Hi, Brenda. At this time, we do not sell replacement covers for our Douglas mattress.

A: Hi, Alysha. The Douglas mattress cover is a machine-washable cover that contains Tencel® fibres. It is designed to help draw moisture away, but it is not waterproof.

Our mattress protector has a waterproof top panel to help protect your new investment from accidental spills or stains.

A: Hi, Stevie. The mattress protector should be able to fit on your Douglas with ease. Should there be any extra fabric, you may tuck it underneath the mattress or use clips to keep it in place.

A: Slats must be at least 2 inches wide, 3 inches or less a part, and have a centre support beam to be compatible with our mattress!

A: Hi Dave, using a fitted sheet over top of your mattress protector is up to your personal preference. We have customers that use the mattress protector only while others choose to place a fitted sheet over top.

A: Hey Carmen, thanks for reaching out! The Douglas has a height of 10" and the Douglas wood foundation has a height of 7.75". Together both the Douglas mattress and foundation would have a height of 17.75"

A: Hey Carmen, thanks for your question! The Douglas is a medium firm mattress with a firmness rating of 6.6/10. That being said, it will provide a bit of sink and is designed for all sleeping positions.

If you're frame uses horizontal wood slats that are at least 2" wide and no more than 3" apart, or uses an untreated wood platform surface as the base for the mattress to rest on then you're all set! If your base has slats that are made of metal or do not meet the measurements specified, a simple fix is to place a sheet of plywood over top! That will provide your new Douglas the support it needs for you to get the most out of your new mattress.
